Businesses rely heavily on data to efficiently and effectively operate in all functional areas, generating a growing demand for professionals who are all around data-literate. This course will introduce you to data analytics concepts, tool and techniques such as: translating business questions into data questions, preparing data for analysis, running analytics processes using select business intelligence applications, deriving actionable insights and visualizing and presenting data. Hands-on exercises are incorporated throughout the class, utilizing business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, as well as different types of data sets.
