Taught by working professionals who are leaders in their fields, the Business Management Certificate Program will enhance your management skills with a variety of practical, skills-based learning experiences covering an array of topics. These include coaching, data analytics, emotional intelligence, project management and human resources.

Learn to communicate with poise, diplomacy and confidence. Designed for individuals interested in developing essential skills for effective writing and speaking, you will learn practical tools and techniques to help you project a positive, polished and professional image in all written and verbal interactions. This certificate program requires completion of seven courses.

Topic Area: Financial Planning
Available For: All Audiences

The Financial Planning Certificate Program consists of 6 core courses, each of which details a particular facet of financial planning, taught by Austin-area expert practitioners. Courses include Fundamentals of Financial PlanningInvestments, Tax Planning, Insurance and Risk Management, and more. Following the successful completion of the 6 core courses, program participants may proceed to the final course, Financial Plan Development. The capstone course requires students to complete a mock financial plan along with an oral presentation and defense of the devised plan.
