The Financial Planning Certificate Program consists of 6 core courses, each of which details a particular facet of financial planning, taught by Austin-area expert practitioners. Courses include Fundamentals of Financial Planning, Investments, Tax Planning, Insurance and Risk Management, and more. Following the successful completion of the 6 core courses, program participants may proceed to the final course, Financial Plan Development. The capstone course requires students to complete a mock financial plan along with an oral presentation and defense of the devised plan.
