Although we often think of boardrooms, suits and million dollar deals when hearing the word negotiation, the truth is that we negotiate all the time. This workshop will introduce you to the basic types and phases of negotiations, as well as the skills you need to conduct successful negotiations. Learn how to understand your counterpart and gain the confidence to hold out for fair compromises. At the end of this workshop, you will understand the importance of cultivating an atmosphere of respect and mutual gain – and concrete strategies for how to deal with it if difficult situations arise during the negotiation process.
