Casey Boyle, Ph.D.

Casey Boyle, a UT-Austin alumnus and current Associate Professor, teaches topics including accessibility, podcasting, digital storytelling, online self-presentation and media theory. When he’s not teaching UT students, he’s busy researching and writing about digital culture and how people write in digital environments. In addition to his academic profile, Boyle designs and conducts professional workshops for organizations and individuals on accessibility, team building, idea creation and writing.

Credentials: 

Boyle holds a BA in English from The University of Texas at Austin, where he works as an Associate Professor in the Department of Rhetoric and Writing, as well as a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Writing from The University of South Carolina. In addition, he also serves as Director of the Digital Writing and Research Lab at UT Austin.
