Donnie Johnson Sackey, Ph.D
Dr. Donnie Johnson Sackey, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Rhetoric & Writing at The University of Texas at Austin. His research centers on the dynamics of environmental public policy deliberation, environmental justice and environmental cultural history. Dr. Sackey teaches topics including information design, technical writing, writing for nonprofits and environmental communication and has facilitated several community writing workshops and writing groups.
Credentials:
Dr. Sackey holds a bachelor’s degree in Latin along with a bachelor’s in English from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Critical Studies in Literacy & Pedagogy and a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Writing from Michigan State University.
