Angela Newell, Ph.D.
Angela Newell, Ph.D., is an expert in Information and Data Policy and passionate about ethical Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (ML/AI). A quantitative researcher by training, Dr. Newell is tinkering with a ML model aimed at improving healthcare and more generally, working to understand the benefits and drawbacks of ML/AI in the public sector. The cloud is fundamental to the future of information and technology and provides the computational foundation for high volume, high dimensional data. She looks forward to exploring the cloud and advancing its potential with you.
Dr. Newell holds a Master of Science in Public Policy and Information Systems Management from Heinz College at Carnegie Mellon University. She also holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin.
